Boons after the Khāṇḍava Burning
वहनेश्चापि प्रदीप्तस्य खमुत्पेतुर्महार्चिष: । जनयामासुरुद्वेगं सुमहान्तं दिवौकसाम्,प्रज्वयलित अग्निकी बड़ी-बड़ी लपटें आकाशमें ऊपरकी ओर उठने और देवताओंके मनमें बड़ा भारी भय उत्पन्न करने लगीं
vahanec cāpi pradīptasya kham utpetur mahārcīṣaḥ | janayāmāsur udvegaṃ sumahāntaṃ divaukasām ||
ప్రజ్వలితమైన అగ్నిలోనుంచి మహా జ్వాలలు ఆకాశంలోకి ఎగసిపడ్డాయి; అవి దివ్యలోకవాసుల హృదయాల్లో అపారమైన భయాన్ని, కలవరాన్ని రేపాయి.
