रुरुधुश्चापरास्तत्र प्रजघ्नुश्न परस्परम् । मन्त्रयामासुरन्याश्व॒ रहस्यानि परस्परम्,कुछ एक-दूसरीको पकड़कर रोकने और मृदु प्रहार करने लगीं तथा कुछ दूसरी स्त्रियाँ एकान्तमें बैठकर आपसमें कुछ गुप्त बातें करने लगीं
vaiśampāyana uvāca | rurudhuś cāparās tatra prajaghnuś ca parasparam | mantrayāmāsur anyāś ca rahasyāni parasparam ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను— అక్కడ కొందరు స్త్రీలు ఒకరినొకరు పట్టుకొని ఆపసాగిరి; ఆటపాటలలో ఒకరినొకరు మృదువుగా కొట్టుకొనసాగిరి. మరికొందరు ఏకాంతంగా కూర్చొని పరస్పరం రహస్య మాటలు చెప్పుకొనసాగిరి.
