Chapter 213
वने चरेद् ब्रह्मचर्यमिति व: समय: कृत: । आपलोगोंने आपसमें यह शर्त कर रखी है कि हम लोगोंमेंसे कोई भी यदि द्रौपदीके पास रहे, उस दशामें यदि दूसरा मोहवश उस घरमें प्रवेश करे, तो वह बारह वर्षोतक वनमें रहकर ब्रह्मचर्यका पालन करे
arjuna uvāca | vane cared brahmacaryam iti vaḥ samayaḥ kṛtaḥ |
అర్జునుడు పలికెను— మీరు పరస్పరం ఈ నియమం చేసుకున్నారు: మనలో ఎవడైనా ద్రౌపదితో ఉన్నప్పుడు, మరొకడు మోహవశమున ఆ సమయంలో ఆ గృహములో ప్రవేశిస్తే, అతడు పన్నెండు సంవత్సరాలు వనములో నివసిస్తూ బ్రహ్మచర్యం ఆచరించవలెను।
