Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the ethical ideal that a realm flourishes when guided by capable, united, and dharma-aligned leaders; their excellence makes the city radiant and well-ordered, like a legendary ideal city.

Vāyudeva describes how the foremost city—under the presence and protection of the five Indra-like Pāṇḍava archers—became splendid, compared poetically to Bhogavatī, the nāga city famed for its adornment and grandeur.
