तदादाय च लुब्धस्य लोभाल्लोभोप्यवर्धत । तथा हि सर्वमादाय राज्यमस्य जिहीषति

Transliteration

tadādāya ca lubdhasya lobhāl lobho 'py avardhata | tathā hi sarvam ādāya rājyam asya jihīṣati ||

Translation

అది పొందిన తరువాత లుబ్ధుని లోభం, లోభం వల్లనే మరింత పెరిగింది; ఎందుకంటే అన్నిటినీ కబళించిన తరువాత ఇప్పుడు ఇతని రాజ్యాన్నికూడా అపహరించదలచుకున్నాడు.
