भीष्म उवाच
This line is a colophon rather than a didactic verse; its ethical significance lies in framing the chapter as part of Bhīṣma’s authoritative counsel and a narrative unit concerned with rightful governance (rājya) and the moral-political implications of Vidura’s arrival.
The text is marking the end of Chapter 202 and identifying its placement: in the Ādi Parva, within the sub-section dealing with Vidura’s arrival and the attainment of the kingdom, presented under the heading of Bhīṣma’s speech.
