Kuntī’s Benediction to Draupadī and the Alliance Gifts (कुन्त्याः स्नुषाशीर्-वचनम् तथा दान-प्रतिग्रहः)

कुशैस्तु भूमौ शयनं चकार माद्रीपुत्र: सहदेवस्तरस्वी | यथा स्वकीयान्यजिनानि सर्वे संस्तीर्य वीरा: सुषुपुर्धरण्याम्‌,तदनन्तर वेगवान्‌ वीर माद्रीकुमार सहदेवने धरतीपर कुशकी शय्या बिछा दी। फिर समस्त पाण्डव वीर अपने-अपने मृगचर्म बिछाकर भूमिधर ही सोये

kuśais tu bhūmau śayanaṃ cakāra mādrīputraḥ sahadevas tarasvī | yathā svakīyāny ajināni sarve saṃstīrya vīrāḥ suṣupur dharaṇyām |

ఆ తరువాత వేగవంతుడైన వీరుడు మాద్రీపుత్ర సహదేవుడు నేలపై కుశగడ్డితో శయ్యను వేశాడు. ఆపై పాండవ వీరులందరూ తమ తమ మృగచర్మాలను పరచి, భూమిపైనే నిద్రించారు.
