स्थितो<स्म्यद्य रणे जेतुं त्वां वै वीर स्थिरो भव । मैं तो सम्पूर्ण शस्त्रधारियोंमें उत्तम और योद्धाओंमें श्रेष्ठ एक ब्राह्मण हूँ। गुरुका उपदेश पाकर ब्रह्मास्त्र तथा इन्द्रास्त्र दोनोंमें पारंगत हो गया हूँ। वीर! आज मैं तुम्हें युद्धमें जीतनेके लिये खड़ा हूँ, तुम भी स्थिरतापूर्वक खड़े रहो
sthito 'smy adya raṇe jetuṃ tvāṃ vai vīra sthiro bhava |
ఈ రోజు యుద్ధరంగంలో నిన్ను జయించుటకు నేను స్థిరంగా నిలిచియున్నాను; ఓ వీరా, నీవు కూడా ధైర్యంగా స్థిరంగా నిలువు. నేను సమస్త శస్త్రధారులలో ఉత్తముడను, యోధులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడైన బ్రాహ్మణుడను. గురువుపదేశముచే బ్రహ్మాస్త్రం, ఇంద్రాస్త్రం—రెండింటిలోనూ పారంగతుడనయ్యాను. వీరా! నిన్ను ఓడించుటకే ఈ రోజు నేను నిలిచియున్నాను; నీవు కూడా అచంచలంగా నిలువు.
