केचिदासन् विमनस: केचिदासन् मुदान्विता: । आहुः परस्परं केचिन्निपुणा बुद्धिजीविन:,कुछ ब्राह्मण उदास हो गये और कुछ प्रसन्नताके मारे फूल उठे तथा कुछ चतुर एवं बुद्धिजीवी ब्राह्मण आपसमें इस प्रकार कहने लगे--
kechid āsan vimanasaḥ kechid āsan mudānvitāḥ | āhuḥ parasparaṃ kechin nipuṇā buddhijīvinaḥ ||
కొంతమంది మనసు దిగులుపడ్డారు, కొంతమంది ఆనందంతో ఉప్పొంగారు; మరికొందరు నిపుణులైన, బుద్ధిజీవి బ్రాహ్మణులు పరస్పరం ఇలా మాట్లాడసాగారు.
