अध्याय १८४ — भैक्षविभागः, शयनविधानम्, धृष्टद्युम्नस्य निवेदनम्

Alms Distribution, Night Lodging, and Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s Report

एतन्महत्‌ कर्म करोति यो वै कुलेन रूपेण बलेन युक्तः । तस्याद्य भार्या भगिनी ममेयं कृष्णा भवित्री न मृषा ब्रवीमि,“मैं सच कहता हूँ, झूठ नहीं बोलता--जो उत्तम कुल, सुन्दर रूप और श्रेष्ठ बलसे सम्पन्न वीर यह महान्‌ कर्म कर दिखायेगा, आज यह मेरी बहिन कृष्णा उसीकी धर्मपत्नी होगी”

etad mahat karma karoti yo vai kulena rūpeṇa balena yuktaḥ | tasyādya bhāryā bhaginī mamaiyāṃ kṛṣṇā bhavitrī na mṛṣā bravīmi |

“ఉత్తమ కులం, సుందర రూపం, శ్రేష్ఠ బలం కలిగి ఈ మహత్కార్యాన్ని ఎవడు సాధిస్తాడో, ఈ రోజు నా సోదరి కృష్ణా అతనికి ధర్మపత్నిగా అవుతుంది. నేను సత్యమే చెబుతున్నాను; అసత్యం కాదు.”
