अर्जुनस्य लक्ष्यवेधः

Arjuna’s Hitting of the Target at the Svayaṃvara

कि हि वित्तेन नः कार्य स्वर्गेप्सूनां द्विजोत्तम । यदस्माकं धनाध्यक्ष: प्रभूतं धनमाहरत्‌,द्विजश्रेष्ठ) (यदि ऐसी बात न होती तो) स्वर्ग-लोककी इच्छावाले हम भार्गवोंको धनसे क्या काम था; क्योंकि साक्षात्‌ कुबेरने हमें प्रचुर धनराशि लाकर दी थी

ki hi vittena naḥ kāryaṃ svargepsūnāṃ dvijottama | yad asmākaṃ dhanādhyakṣaḥ prabhūtaṃ dhanam āharat ||

హే ద్విజోత్తమా! స్వర్గాన్ని కోరుకునే మాకు ధనంతో ఏమి పని? ఎందుకంటే మా ధనాధ్యక్షుడు—సాక్షాత్తు కుబేరుడే—మాకు అపారమైన ధనాన్ని తెచ్చి ఇచ్చాడు.
