स तु शप्तस्तदा तेन शक्तिना वै नृपोत्तम: । जगाम शरणं शक्ति प्रसादयितुमरहयन्,जब शक्तिने शाप दे दिया, तब नृपतिशिरोमणि कल्माषपाद उनकी स्तुति करते हुए उन्हें प्रसन्न करनेके लिये उनके शरण होने चले
sa tu śaptas tadā tena śaktinā vai nṛpottamaḥ | jagāma śaraṇaṃ śaktiṃ prasādayitum arhayan |
కానీ శక్తి అతనిని శపించినప్పుడు, ఆ నృపోత్తముడు శక్తిని ప్రసన్నం చేయుట యోగ్యమని భావించి, భక్తితో ఆయన శరణు పొందెను।
