बकवधोत्तर-प्रशमनम् | Post-slaying Stabilization after Baka’s Death

आक्रम्य मानुषं कण्ठमाच्छिद्य धमनीमपि । उष्णं नवं प्रपास्यामि फेनिलं रुधिरं बहु,“मैं मनुष्यकी गर्दनपर चढ़कर उसकी नाड़ियोंको काट दूँगा और उसका गरम-गरम, फेनयुक्त तथा ताजा खून खूब छककर पीऊँगा

ākramya mānuṣaṃ kaṇṭham ācchidya dhamanīm api | uṣṇaṃ navaṃ prapāsyāmi phenilaṃ rudhiraṃ bahu ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana said: “Trampling upon a man’s throat and severing even his vital vessels, I shall drink deeply of his hot, fresh blood—frothing and in great quantity.” The utterance conveys a deliberate vow of extreme violence, marking a collapse of restraint and a stark violation of dharma through bloodthirsty intent.
