Summons of Baka and the Tree-Weapon Engagement
(दाक्षिणात्य अधिक पाठके २९ श्लोक मिलाकर कुल ५५ श्लोक हैं) अपन का छा | अत-४#-#कात पजञज्चाशर्दाधिकशततमोब् ध्याय: माता कुन्तीके लिये भीमसेनका जल ले आना, माता और भाइयोंको भूमिपर सोये देखकर भीमका विषाद एवं दुर्योधनके प्रति क्रोध वैशम्पायन उवाच तेन विक्रममाणेन ऊरुवेगसमीरितम् । वन॑ सवृक्षविटपं व्याघूर्णितमिवाभवत्,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं-जनमेजय! भीमसेनके चलते समय उनके महान् वेगसे आन्दोलित हो वृक्ष और शाखाओंसहित वह सम्पूर्ण वन घूमता-सा प्रतीत होने लगा
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: tena vikramamāṇena ūruvegasaṃīritam | vanaṃ savṛkṣaviṭapaṃ vyāghūrṇitam ivābhavat ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను— జనమేజయా! భీమసేనుడు విక్రమించి ముందుకు సాగగా, అతని తొడల వేగముచేత ప్రేరితమైన గాలితో, వృక్షశాఖలతో కూడిన ఆ వనం అంతటా గిరగిరా తిరుగుతున్నట్లుగా అనిపించింది।
