अगर्वितात्मा युक्तश्न सान्त्वयुक्तो5नसूयिता । अवेक्षितार्थ: शुद्धात्मा मन्त्रयीत द्विजैः सह,राजा अपने हृदयसे अहंकारको निकाल दे। चित्तको एकाग्र रखे। सबसे मधुर बोले। दूसरोंके दोष प्रकाशित न करे। सब विषयोंपर दृष्टि रखे और शुद्धचित्त हो द्विजोंके साथ बैठकर मन्त्रणा करे

Transliteration

agarpitātmā yuktaś ca sāntvayukto 'nasūyitā | avekṣitārthaḥ śuddhātmā mantrayīta dvijaiḥ saha ||

Translation

కణికుడు చెప్పెను—రాజు హృదయంలోని అహంకారాన్ని తొలగించాలి; మనస్సును నియమించి ఏకాగ్రంగా ఉంచాలి; మృదువుగా, సాంత్వనగా మాట్లాడాలి; ఇతరుల దోషాలను ఎత్తిచూపకూడదు. అన్ని వ్యవహారాలపై దృష్టి ఉంచి, అంతఃకరణం శుద్ధంగా ఉంచుకొని, ద్విజపండితులతో కలిసి సభలో మంత్రణ చేయాలి.
