परिष्वज्य च तस्याथ मूर्धानं स्‍्नेहविक्लव: । अंगराज्याभिषेकार्द्रम श्रुभि: सिषिचे पुन:,उसने स्नेहसे विह्लल होकर कर्णको हृदयसे लगा लिया और अंगदेशके राज्यपर अभिषेक होनेसे भीगे हुए उसके मस्तकको आँसुओंसे पुनः: अभिषिक्त कर दिया

Transliteration

parisvajya ca tasyātha mūrdhānaṃ snehaviklavaḥ | aṅgarājyābhiṣekārdram aśrubhiḥ siṣice punaḥ ||

Translation

తరువాత స్నేహవశుడై అతడు కర్ణుని ఆలింగనం చేసుకొని, అంగరాజ్యాభిషేకముతో తడిసిన అతని శిరస్సును తన కన్నీళ్లతో మరల అభిషేకించెను.
