इति सम्भाषतां वाचं श्रुत्वा मे बुद्धिरच्यवत् । आत्मानं चात्मना गर्हन् मनसेदं व्यचिन्तयम्
iti sambhāṣatāṃ vācaṃ śrutvā me buddhir acyavat | ātmānaṃ cātmanā garhan manasedaṃ vyacintayam ||
వైశంపాయనుడు అన్నాడు—వారు పరస్పరం మాట్లాడుకున్న ఆ మాటలు విని నా బుద్ధి చలించిపోయింది. మనసులోనే నన్ను నేనే గర్హించుకుంటూ నేను ఇలా ఆలోచించాను.
