मुहूर्तोदित आदित्ये सर्वे बालपुरस्कृता: । सदारास्तापसान द्रष्टं निर्ययु: पुरवासिन:,दो घड़ी दिन चढ़ते-चढ़ते समस्त पुरवासी स्त्रियों और बालकोंको साथ लिये तपस्वी मुनियोंका दर्शन करनेके लिये नगरसे बाहर निकल आये

Transliteration

muhūrtodite āditye sarve bālapuraskṛtāḥ | sadārās tāpasān draṣṭuṃ niryayuḥ puravāsinaḥ ||

Translation

సూర్యుడు కొద్దిసేపు పైకి ఎగసిన తరువాత, పట్టణవాసులందరూ—పిల్లలను ముందుంచి, భార్యలతో కూడి—తపస్వి మునులను దర్శించుటకు నగరము వెలుపలికి బయలుదేరారు.
