न सीदेतामदुःखाहें मा गमो भरतर्षभ । “इस मार्गपर केवल वायु चल सकती है तथा सिद्ध महर्षि भी जा सकते हैं। इस पर्वतराजपर चलती हुई ये दोनों राजकुमारियाँ कैसे कष्ट न पायेंगी? भरतवंशशिरोमणे! ये दोनों रानियाँ दुःख सहन करनेके योग्य नहीं हैं; अतः आप न चलिये'
na sīdetām aduḥkhāhe mā gamo bharatarṣabha
దుఃఖానికి అలవాటు లేని ఈ ఇద్దరూ క్షోభపడకుండునుగాక; ఓ భరతశ్రేష్ఠా, మీరు ముందుకు సాగకండి. ఈ మార్గంలో గాలి మాత్రమే సాగగలదు; సిద్ధ మహర్షులు మాత్రమే దాటగలరు. ఈ పర్వతరాజుపై నడుస్తూ ఈ ఇద్దరు రాజకుమార్తెలు ఎలా బాధపడకపోగలరు? ఓ భరతవంశ శిరోమణీ, ఈ ఇద్దరు రాణులు ఇంతటి కష్టాన్ని భరించగలవారు కారు; అందుచేత మీరు ముందుకు పోకండి.
