Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharma in conduct: truthful reporting (yathāvṛttam) and integrity in handling property—agents must deliver what is entrusted to the rightful authority without distortion or misappropriation.

A group returns to Hastināpura, informs King Dhṛtarāṣṭra of events concerning the noble Pāṇḍu exactly as they occurred, and then hands over the collected wealth to Dhṛtarāṣṭra.
