सुराणां सम्मतो नित्यमसुराणां च भारत । उशना वेद यच्छास्त्रमयं तद् वेद सर्वश:,भारत! देवता और असुर भी इसका सदा सम्मान करते हैं। शुक्राचार्य जिस (नीति) शास्त्रको जानते हैं, उसका यह भी पूर्णरूपसे जानकार है
surāṇāṁ sammato nityam asurāṇāṁ ca bhārata | uśanā veda yacchāstramayaṁ tad veda sarvaśaḥ ||
ఓ భారతా! దేవతలూ అసురులూ—ఇద్దరూ ఇతనిని నిత్యం గౌరవిస్తారు. ఉశనా (శుక్రాచార్యుడు) ఏ నীতি-శాస్త్రాన్ని తెలుసునో, ఆ సమస్త శాస్త్రాన్ని ఇతడూ సంపూర్ణంగా తెలుసు.
