Adhyaya 89: शौचाचारलक्षणम् — सदाचार, भैक्ष्यचर्या, प्रायश्चित्त, द्रव्यशुद्धि, आशौच-निर्णय

अपूतोदकपाने तु जपेच्च शतपञ्चकम् अघोरलक्षणं मन्त्रं ततः शुद्धिमवाप्नुयात्

apūtodakapāne tu japecca śatapañcakam aghoralakṣaṇaṃ mantraṃ tataḥ śuddhimavāpnuyāt

ఎవరైనా అపవిత్ర జలాన్ని తాగినట్లయితే, అఘోర-లక్షణ మంత్రాన్ని నూట ఇరవై ఐదు సార్లు జపించాలి; ఆపై శుద్ధిని పొందుతాడు.
