Adhyaya 70: आदिसर्गः—महत्-अहङ्कार-तन्मात्रा-भूतसृष्टिः, ब्रह्माण्डावरणम्, प्रजासर्गः, त्रिमूर्ति-शैवाधिष्ठानम्

उपास्य रजनीं कृत्स्नां परां माहेश्वरीं तथा अर्हमुखे प्रवृत्तश् च परः प्रकृतिसंभवः

upāsya rajanīṃ kṛtsnāṃ parāṃ māheśvarīṃ tathā arhamukhe pravṛttaś ca paraḥ prakṛtisaṃbhavaḥ

సంపూర్ణ రాత్రి ఆ పరమ మాహేశ్వరీ రజనీని ఉపాసించి, అనంతరం శుభ అగ్రభాగంలో ప్రకృతి-సంభవమైన పరతత్త్వం ప్రవృత్తమైంది.
