Adhyaya 70: आदिसर्गः—महत्-अहङ्कार-तन्मात्रा-भूतसृष्टिः, ब्रह्माण्डावरणम्, प्रजासर्गः, त्रिमूर्ति-शैवाधिष्ठानम्

अस्यात्मना सर्वमिदं व्याप्तं त्वासीच्छिवेच्छया गुणसाम्ये तदा तस्मिन्न् अविभागे तमोमये
Transliteration
asyātmanā sarvamidaṃ vyāptaṃ tvāsīcchivecchayā guṇasāmye tadā tasminn avibhāge tamomaye
Translation
ఆయన స్వాత్మస్వరూపంతో ఇదంతా వ్యాపించి ఉండెను; శివుని ఇచ్ఛచేత, ఆ సమయంలో గుణాలు సంపూర్ణ సమ్యస్థితిలో ఉన్నప్పుడు, ఇది అంతా ఆ అవిభక్త, తమోమయ (అవ్యక్త) స్థితిలోనే నిలిచింది।
