Adhyaya 70: आदिसर्गः—महत्-अहङ्कार-तन्मात्रा-भूतसृष्टिः, ब्रह्माण्डावरणम्, प्रजासर्गः, त्रिमूर्ति-शैवाधिष्ठानम्

लक्षणैस्तारकाद्यैस्ते ह्य् अष्टधा तु व्यवस्थिताः

lakṣaṇaistārakādyaiste hy aṣṭadhā tu vyavasthitāḥ

‘తారక’ మొదలైన ప్రత్యేక లక్షణాలచే వారు నిజముగా అష్టవిధములుగా వ్యవస్థితులై ఉన్నారు।
