प्राणा वै जगतामापो भूतानि भुवनानि च बहुनात्र किमुक्तेन चराचरमिदं जगत्

Transliteration

prāṇā vai jagatāmāpo bhūtāni bhuvanāni ca bahunātra kimuktena carācaramidaṃ jagat

Translation

ప్రాణమే జగత్తుకు ఆధారం—జలములు, భూతప్రాణులు, సమస్త లోకములు దానిపైనే నిలిచియున్నవి. మరి ఎక్కువగా ఏమి చెప్పాలి? ఈ చరాచర విశ్వమంతా ప్రాణముచేత ధారితము; ఆ ప్రాణమునకు అంతర్యామి పతి భగవాన్ శివుడే నియంత.
