FAQs

It situates the Purana’s Shaiva teaching within sacred geography—Bhārata-varṣa—where Shiva-dharma and Linga-pratiṣṭhā are traditionally upheld by righteous lineages.

Indirectly: by emphasizing dharma and wise remembrance, it reflects the Shaiva view that right order in the world (dharma) supports the Pashu’s gradual turning toward Pati (Shiva), the supreme ground of liberation.

No specific puja-vidhi or Pāśupata-yoga method is stated; the takeaway is the dhārmika ideal—purity of conduct that prepares the soul (pashu) for Shiva-bhakti and disciplined worship.
