Kāma–Krodha–Lobha and the Fire of Dissolution
The Devas (within Suta’s narration to the sages at Naimisharanya)
It frames the Linga as Ananta—Shiva’s limitless sign—so worship is not about ‘measuring’ God but surrendering through namaskāra to Pati, the transcendent Lord.
Shiva is presented as beyond end or boundary (aparicchinna). Even the Devas cannot reach His ‘anta,’ indicating Pati’s supremacy over all cosmic powers and categories.
Namaskāra (prostration/surrender) is emphasized—an essential Pāśupata orientation where the paśu acknowledges its limitation and turns to Pati for grace that cuts pāśa (bondage).
