Upamanyu’s Tapas, Shiva’s Indra-Form Test, and the Bestowal of Kshiroda and Gaṇapatya

आस्थायैवं हि शक्रस्य स्वरूपं परमेश्वरः जगामानुग्रहं कर्तुम् उपमन्योस् तदाश्रमम्

āsthāyaivaṃ hi śakrasya svarūpaṃ parameśvaraḥ jagāmānugrahaṃ kartum upamanyos tadāśramam

ఈ విధంగా శక్రుడు (ఇంద్రుడు) యొక్క రూపాన్ని ధరించిన పరమేశ్వరుడు శివుడు, ఉపమన్యువు ఆశ్రమానికి అనుగ్రహం చేయుటకు వెళ్లెను।
