मदनदाहः — पार्वतीतपः, स्वयंवरलीला, देवस्तम्भनं, दिव्यचक्षुर्दानम्

आस्थाय रूपं यत्सौम्यं समेष्ये ऽहं सह त्वया इत्युक्त्वा तां समालोक्य देवो दिव्येन चक्षुषा

āsthāya rūpaṃ yatsaumyaṃ sameṣye 'haṃ saha tvayā ityuktvā tāṃ samālokya devo divyena cakṣuṣā

సౌమ్యమైన, మంగళకరమైన రూపాన్ని ధరించి దేవుడు అన్నాడు—“నేను నీతో ఏకమవుతాను.” అని చెప్పి, దివ్య దృష్టితో ఆమెను వీక్షించాడు।
