यः क्षात्त्रदेहन्तु विहाय शोचते रणाङ्गणे स्वामिवधे च गोग्रहे / स्त्रीबालघाते पथि सार्थहेतवे मया स्वकोशं न हतं न पातितम्

యోధుడి దేహాన్ని విడిచిన తరువాత కూడా ఎవడు ఇలా అనుకొని విలపిస్తాడో—“రణరంగంలో, స్వామివధంలో, గోగ్రహంలో, స్త్రీ-బాలహత్యలో, లేదా మార్గంలో సార్థదోపిడీ కోసం—నా దేహం మాత్రం కొట్టబడలేదు, పడిపోలేదు”—అతడు హింసాకర్మస్మృతులకు బంధితుడై మోహంతో దుఃఖిస్తాడు।
