అజాగ్రత్తవశాత్తు గానీ, ఉద్దేశపూర్వకంగానీ, మానవుడు సర్పానికి ఎదురుగా వెళ్లకూడదు. నెలలో రెండు పక్షములలోను పంచమి తిథిన నాగులను విధివిధానంగా పూజించవలెను.
