रुद्रे स्थितो रुद्रसंज्ञो न रुद्रस्तु हरिः स्वयम् / विष्णुरेव हरिः साक्षात्तावुभौन हरी स्मृतौ
rudre sthito rudrasaṃjño na rudrastu hariḥ svayam / viṣṇureva hariḥ sākṣāttāvubhauna harī smṛtau
రుద్రునందు స్థితుడైనవాడు ‘రుద్ర’ అనే నామంతో పిలువబడతాడు; కాని హరి స్వయంగా రుద్రుడు కాదు. సాక్షాత్తు హరి విష్ణువే; అందువల్ల ఆ ఇద్దరిని రెండు ‘హరి’లుగా స్మరించరాదు.
