జ్ఞానాభిమాని, వేదాభిమాని—ఇద్దరూ ఎల్లప్పుడూ పరస్పరం వాదించుకొనిరి. కాని అయోగ్య ఆచార్యుల సంగదోషముచేత ద్విజులలో వేదము కూడా ‘జలము’వలె క్షీణించును; మురారి విష్ణువు నివసించునని చెప్పబడిన స్థలములోనూ ఇదే స్థితి.
