द्व्यशीतितमो ऽध्यायः ब्रह्मोवाच / कीकटेषु गया पुण्या पुण्यं राजगृहं वनम् / विषयश्चारणः पुण्यो नदीनां च पुनः पुना

dvyaśītitamo 'dhyāyaḥ brahmovāca / kīkaṭeṣu gayā puṇyā puṇyaṃ rājagṛhaṃ vanam / viṣayaścāraṇaḥ puṇyo nadīnāṃ ca punaḥ punā

బ్రహ్ముడు పలికెను— కీకట దేశంలో గయా పుణ్యక్షేత్రం; రాజగృహ వనం కూడా పవిత్రం. చారణ అనే ప్రాంతమూ పుణ్యమే; నదులలో పునఃపునా నదీ కూడా పవిత్రమని చెప్పబడింది।
