Concept: Small conditions at the start of action influence karmic outcomes; right-channel activation at departure tends toward auspiciousness even in minor tasks.
Vedantic Theme: Causality in the empirical realm (vyavahāra): attention to subtle causes while remaining unattached to results.
Application: Before starting tasks, pause and check readiness (breath, mind, environment); if signs are unfavorable, delay or adjust; treat beginnings as decisive.
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.67.15-18 (left/right channels; domains of application; moderation and discernment)
This verse treats nāḍī-flow as an omen: the right nāḍī at the start of an action is described as favorable and linked with successful outcomes.
It does not directly describe the soul’s post-death journey; instead, it gives a living-world indicator (nāḍī-omen) showing how subtle conditions can influence results of actions (karma) as gain/loss and victory/defeat.
Before beginning an important task, cultivate steadiness and clarity; treat “auspiciousness” as a cue to act with discipline and right intention, avoiding impulsive or harmful choices.
