मेढे वामनते चैव सुतार्थरहितो भवेत् / वक्रे ऽन्यथा पुत्रवान्त्स्याद्दारिद्रयं विनतेत्वधः

meḍhe vāmanate caiva sutārtharahito bhavet / vakre 'nyathā putravāntsyāddāridrayaṃ vinatetvadhaḥ

మేషరాశిలో (లక్షణం) క్రిందికి వంగి ఉంటే సంతానం, ధనం లేనివాడవుతాడు; వేరే విధంగా వంకరగా ఉంటే సంతానవంతుడవుతాడు. ఓ వినతాపుత్ర గరుడా! క్రిందికి వంగుట దారిద్ర్య సూచకం.
