FAQs

This verse prescribes bringing and placing the pīṭha from the north-east, reflecting Īśānya as an auspicious, sanctifying direction used for key placements during consecration (pratiṣṭhā).

It outlines a procedural step of deity installation: placing the Deity on a ritual ‘brahmaratha’ and then arranging the pedestal-seat within the pīṭha-maṇḍapa under the guidance of the officiating ācārya.

For traditional consecrations, follow qualified ācārya guidance on directional placement and mandapa layout; for general practice, treat sacred spaces with order, purity, and disciplined procedure.
