FAQs

This verse frames Vishnu as the supreme regulator of cosmic cycles—origin and withdrawal—establishing Him as the ultimate refuge before any doctrinal teaching that follows.

Indirectly: by identifying the Supreme (knowable through the Vedas and present as the inner mind), it points the soul toward the highest support for liberation beyond changing states like creation and dissolution.

Begin study, prayer, or ritual with remembrance of the Supreme as inner guide (manaḥ) and as Veda-grounded truth, cultivating steadiness and ethical clarity in daily actions.
