चणारूपा चण्डिकाख्या दुर्गेदुर्गे ऽथ रक्षिणि / वज्रखड्गादिका मुद्राः शिवाद्या वह्निदेशतः
caṇārūpā caṇḍikākhyā durgedurge 'tha rakṣiṇi / vajrakhaḍgādikā mudrāḥ śivādyā vahnideśataḥ
ఆమె ఉగ్ర (చండ) స్వరూపిణి, ‘చండికా’ అని ప్రసిద్ధి—‘దుర్గే దుర్గే’ అని, అలాగే ‘రక్షిణి’గా కూడా ఆవాహ్యము. వజ్రం, ఖడ్గం మొదలైన ముద్రలు, శివాది నుండి ప్రారంభించి, అగ్ని-ప్రదేశాన్ని ఆధారంగా చేసుకొని ప్రయోగించాలి।
