This verse praises Varuṇa as the regulator who binds wrongdoing through the ‘pāśa’—a symbol of moral law and restraint—reminding practitioners to live within dharma.
By stating that Varuṇa established the Sun’s path, the verse points to a universe governed by order (ṛta), where cosmic regularity mirrors ethical order in human life.
Use the verse as a short daily remembrance that discipline and truthfulness are forms of worship—aligning personal conduct with cosmic order.
