विष्णोरायतनं त्वापः स एवाप्पतिरुच्यते / तस्यैवं तनवस्त्वेतास्तस्मात्तं ह्यप्सु संस्मरेत्

viṣṇorāyatanaṃ tvāpaḥ sa evāppatirucyate / tasyaivaṃ tanavastvetāstasmāttaṃ hyapsu saṃsmaret

జలములు విష్ణువుకు ఆయతనం (నివాసం); అందువల్ల ఆయన ‘అప్పతి’—జలాధిపతి—అని చెప్పబడతాడు. ఈ జలములు ఆయన యొక్క ప్రకటన-తనువులే; కాబట్టి జలంలోనే ఆయనను స్మరించాలి.
