apāmārgasya vai mūle garbhavatyāstu nāmataḥ / utpāṭyamāne sakale puttraḥ syādānyathā sutā

అపామార్గ మొక్క మూలంలో గర్భవతీ స్త్రీ పేరు ఉచ్చరించి, ఆ మూలాన్ని పూర్తిగా పెకలించినచో కుమారుడు జన్మిస్తాడని అంటారు; లేకపోతే కుమార్తె జన్మిస్తుంది.
