This verse presents Vīranavamī (Caitra Śukla Navamī) as a Devī-focused observance that yields longevity, health, prosperity, and protection from enemies.
It does not describe the soul’s post-death journey; instead, it teaches a life-affirming ritual (vrata/Devī worship) aimed at well-being and protection in worldly life.
Observe Navamī in Caitra by offering Devī fragrant, pure offerings (such as damanaka) with disciplined conduct and prayer for health, stability, and courage against adversity.
