व्यास उवाच इति सम्प्रश्नसंहृष्टो विप्राणां रौमहर्षणि: । प्रतिपूज्य वचस्तेषां प्रवक्तुमुपचक्रमे ॥ १ ॥

vyāsa uvāca iti sampraśna-saṁhṛṣṭo viprāṇāṁ raumaharṣaṇiḥ pratipūjya vacas teṣāṁ pravaktum upacakrame

Translation

వ్యాసుడు అన్నాడు—బ్రాహ్మణుల పరిపూర్ణ ప్రశ్నలతో రౌమహర్షణి కుమారుడు ఉగ్రశ్రవా (సూత గోస్వామి) ఎంతో సంతోషించాడు; వారి మాటలను గౌరవించి సమాధానం చెప్పడం ప్రారంభించాడు।
