उत्तार्य गोपी सुश‍ृतं पय: पुन: प्रविश्य संद‍ृश्य च दध्यमत्रकम् । भग्नं विलोक्य स्वसुतस्य कर्म त- ज्जहास तं चापि न तत्र पश्यती ॥ ७ ॥

గోపి యశోద వేడి పాలను దింపి, మళ్లీ మథనస్థలానికి వచ్చెను. అక్కడ పెరుగు పాత్ర పగిలి ఉండటం చూసి, కృష్ణుడు కనబడకపోవడంతో, ఇది తన కుమారుడి పనియని గ్రహించి, ఆమె నవ్వెను.
