विधमन्तं स्वसैन्यानि द्युमन्तं रुक्‍मिणीसुत: । प्रतिहत्य प्रत्यविध्यान्नाराचैरष्टभि: स्मयन् ॥ २ ॥

Transliteration

vidhamantaṁ sva-sainyāni dyumantaṁ rukmiṇī-sutaḥ pratihatya pratyavidhyān nārācair aṣṭabhiḥ smayan

Translation

ప్రద్యుమ్నుడు లేని వేళ ద్యుమాన్ ఆయన సైన్యాన్ని చీల్చిచెదరగొడుతున్నాడు; ఇప్పుడు రుక్మిణీ సుతుడు ప్రద్యుమ్నుడు చిరునవ్వుతో ప్రతిఆక్రమించి ఎనిమిది నారాచ బాణాలతో అతనిని ఛేదించాడు.
