FAQs

Śukadeva describes a scene where King Yudhiṣṭhira sits in the assembly surrounded by sages, social orders, elders, and relatives, and then begins to address them—setting the context for the counsel or decision that follows.

It highlights that Yudhiṣṭhira’s deliberation is public, dhārmic, and supported by learned and responsible members of society—showing the ideal of governance guided by wisdom and tradition.

Seek counsel from qualified, experienced, and well-wishing advisors, and make important choices transparently and with respect for dharma rather than impulsively or in isolation.
