Balarāma Humbles the Kurus and Rescues Sāmba
अहो यदून् सुसंरब्धान् कृष्णं च कुपितं शनै: । सान्त्वयित्वाहमेतेषां शममिच्छन्निहागत: ॥ ३२ ॥ त इमे मन्दमतय: कलहाभिरता: खला: । तं मामवज्ञाय मुहुर्दुर्भाषान् मानिनोऽब्रुवन् ॥ ३३ ॥
aho yadūn su-saṁrabdhān kṛṣṇaṁ ca kupitaṁ śanaiḥ sāntvayitvāham eteṣāṁ śamam icchann ihāgataḥ
అయ్యో! నేను ఎంతో కోపంతో ఉన్న యాదవులను, శ్రీకృష్ణుని నెమ్మదిగా శాంతింపజేసి, ఈ కౌరవుల క్షేమం కోరి ఇక్కడికి వచ్చాను. కానీ మందబుద్ధులు, కలహప్రియులు అయిన ఈ దుర్మార్గులు నన్ను పదే పదే అవమానించి, గర్వంతో కఠినంగా మాట్లాడారు.
