तं वै विदर्भाधिपति: समभ्येत्याभिपूज्य च । निवेशयामास मुदा कल्पितान्यनिवेशने ॥ १६ ॥
taṁ vai vidarbhādhipatiḥ samabhyetyābhipūjya ca niveśayām āsa mudā kalpitānya-niveśane
విదర్భాధిపతి భీష్మకుడు నగరానికి బయటికి వచ్చి రాజు దమఘోషుని కలుసుకొని గౌరవించాడు; ఆపై ఈ సందర్భానికే సిద్ధం చేసిన ప్రత్యేక నివాసంలో ఆనందంగా అతనిని నిలిపాడు।
